These Days…

May 29, 2015 by Morgan 2 Comments

I spend my days learning the balancing act of being Momma to two kiddos- AT HOME!

Yes, we are home! Elijah has been home for two weeks today. And let me tell you- we are exhausted, the house is a disaster, our daughter had cookies for breakfast twice this week, my OCD is seriously causing me anxiety; and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Elliette thinks her big brother is pretty much the coolest thing. And so do we! She has been a really great big sister so far. She runs and grabs things for me and has been a real trooper about moving down to her new bedroom in the basement. We spent Memorial Day weekend at home together as a family of four and it felt amazing. Other than my husband deciding that we needed to start making Ellie’s room in the basement ready for her. Translate, tearing apart a huge entertainment center and taking it downstairs to use in her room and painting it very girly pink and purple. With sparkles. She is pretty much in love.

We have each taken a night this week and spent quality time with her. She is growing up so fast, and is already so big. She is developing her own personality every single day!

My blogs are going to pick back up soon, I have a lot of bloggy commitments in the next few months. But for right now. I am simply enjoying snuggles with my two favorite little people.

Congrats on coming home and finding your new groove – happy for you that it’s summer and (eventually will be?) warmer for your little guy’s first few weeks at home…

Thank you so much! It feels like summer some days around here, and then other days it’s hard to believe we are in June because it’s so chilly out there! Hope you are doing well!!

I met my husband for the first time face to face on the exit ramp that is now down the road from our home. I lived in South Dakota for a year before I was sure I was ready to do this whole "farm wife" thing...(read more!)
