Bloggin My Life Away

April 12, 2011 by Morgan Leave a Comment

Today was another busy day at TKF. It’s my week to cook so I made some yummy fried chicken. The guys devoured it pretty quickly and my husband says “You just about got it down.” (That’s a high compliment from him!)

Today I spent some time in town perusing an antique store, picking up paper towels at Wal-Mart, meeting up with a friend for some ice cream to support our local dairy production unit at SDSU , and attended a physical therapy appointment for my bum knee.

So, other than cooking and serving dinner I didn’t do a whole lot around the farm. Which means not a ton to talk about, but I thought I would take this time to point out of some of the blogs I follow.

A few of the ones I follow are about women interested in telling their own personal stories about what it’s like to live on a farm.

I also, surprisingly, have an interest in other things that do not revolve around the farm. Some recent finds that I am coming to love are these:

Confessions Of A Pioneer Woman (Okay, kind of farm, but not really- check it out it’s great!)

The Nerdy Fashionista (My sis discovered this blog, a great take on fashion!)

Evelyn Kate Designs (Came across this blog via another blog, has some really neat and unique ideas)

Anyway, see the list to the right of this post for all the blogs I follow. But these are just a few blogs that I check on a regular basis.

I figured you could use some extra reading tonight!

And maybe become inspired to Blog Your Life Away!

I met my husband for the first time face to face on the exit ramp that is now down the road from our home. I lived in South Dakota for a year before I was sure I was ready to do this whole "farm wife" thing...(read more!)
