Corn Harvest 2013

October 5, 2013 by Morgan Leave a Comment

Wow, is it Friday already!?

Before I know it the week has flown by and I have lost so much time!

It was my cooking week this week and I spent the week bouncing in and out of the tractor, getting meals ready for the field, measuring some field for silage yields, and I won’t bore you with all the other odds and ends I did around the farm and around our house.

Soybeans are finished and out of the field. Most hauled to town and sold.

Corn silage is cut and tarped ready to feed for winter.

Now we are working on filling our other bunkers with wet corn to also feed for winter. Although today we are taking a small break because of the weather.

I don’t get to blog much from the tractor, but I did get to snap some photos this week.

Sometimes during harvest it’s tough for me to blog. Make sure you like my Facebook page to get updates!
