I love it when my hubby agrees to be a male model.
He may not necessarily love it, but I appreciate it that he allows me to shoot hundreds of pictures of him doing random acts of work.
It really wasn’t hundreds- but it probably felt like hundreds to him.
He lovingly agreed to help Carharrt show off their new Spring line.
Really it has been the perfect Spring for a short sleeved shirt. Not something you can boast on in March normally. Actually, the day I asked him to be my male model was one of the cooler days we have had..so needless to say he was a little chilly without his sweatshirt.
But, I thought it was the perfect to chance to also highlight our newest project at the farm. The tile plow.
We quickly realized that the size for my hubby with Carhartt is not a Medium like we anticipated, but rather a Small (In case you haven’t noticed from my other posts..my husband is a tiny guy). I washed the shirt and dried in on high to shrink it down a bit and that seemed to help.
My husband thought it was pretty comfortable to get around in whether it be down in the hole digging around or sitting in the tractor. And the length was perfect. He might be thin, but he is taller and he prefers shirts to be a little longer so they stayed tucked in.
Once again, can you really go wrong with Carhartt? Well, that and I swear my husband looks great in just about any clothing item.

Just read your blog, and wonder how the tile plow is treating you? We have been doing custom tile for years, and I have had to learn what all of the little extra pieces are so when hubby calls, I can bring fittings to the field.

It is definitely a learning experience for all! But, I will say I think they enjoyed the change of pace and the new “toy”! Luckily I haven’t had to learn any of the little parts … but I am sure that day is definitely coming. We actually bought an enclosed trailer that we try and keep all the things in regards to the tile plow in…so, we shall see how that works out for us this year! It is such a neat process though, I really loved all the technology behind it.

I like Carhartt, especially the pants, but it always seems very pricey.

Agreed, they can be pricey..but I will say this..they last so much longer than some clothing items, especially for what Jason puts them through. The women’s line is really great too- in case you want to spoil your wife some! ๐

Does your tile drain from the surface or subsurface?

This tile drains subsurface
