Flexible Farm Wife

June 20, 2011 by Morgan Leave a Comment

As a farm wife you learn to be flexible.
I just finished up another week of cooking. This week was not as extravagant as I normally get when cooking. And my husband even pitched in for a few days there when I wasn’t feeling so well.
Saturday proved to be an amusing day. My brother in law calls at 11:45 and says he is going to be just a little bit late. My husband shows up ten minutes late and my other brother in law shows up 30 minutes late. Good thing it was leftovers day!
Anyway, normally the guys all pile into one farm truck and drive to dinner (a.k.a. lunch). Saturday was three different vehicles. And one vehicle that is a sure fire way of letting everyone know it’s dinner time and your a farmer.

Even though the guys were running behind Saturday it was still a great day…one of those days that makes glad to be a farm wife!
