Mommy Mondays: Sensory Bins With Letters

May 19, 2014 by Morgan Leave a Comment

A quick and easy sensory bin that doesn’t require too much thought is a bin with filler (in this case I used rice) and I put the letters to her styrofoam mat in the rice, covered them up, and let her find them and put them where they went.
This took a little prompting because she is only two, but she enjoyed digging for them and finding where they went in the puzzle. This is a really good one for older kids I think!
I love this bin, but the letters were a bit bigger than I would have liked and it just so happens that while I was perusing the Dollar Tree I came across a package of the same concept, but a lot tinier! About the size of a sheet of paper. It will work perfect I think to try this again with the smaller letters!
