Happy National Ag Day!

March 20, 2013 by Morgan Leave a Comment

Today is National Ag Day, a day to celebrate the American farmer and what we do every day.

Instead of simply thanking a farmer today take the chance to ask a question you have been dying to know the answer to about modern farming.

Questions regarding everyday food and farming practices…

“What does organic really mean?”

“Does free range chicken taste differently than other chicken?”

“Are hormones bad for me?”

“Why are prices in the grocery store going up?”

And even some questions that might seem silly (but really aren’t!)…

“Do farmers get vacations?”

“Do all farmers really get up at 4 AM?”

“What’s it really like being a first generation farmwife?”

And here is a little something that can give you at least 10 reasons why you should thank a farmer today and every day!
