It was finally, finally warm enough to go outside this weekend.
15 degrees to be exact! It was like a heat wave here where we live in South Dakota.
After a week long of helping out a friend and subbing for her Ag classes I spent the weekend completely being wrapped up in this little cutie.
We played on the swing set, went for rides on the snow mobiles, and must have walked every foot of our 11 acre property. Well, almost. I walked and she was either pulled or carried.
It’s needless to say we had a blast together this weekend and being away from her this week made me even more appreciative of being her Mommy.
We even got Daddy involved in our fun and took some scrap pieces of foam we got from an event we attended and built her a tractor to play in. I decided to keep it blank side up because Elliette’s most favorite thing to do right now is to paint! How much fun will we have?!
One of my absolute favorite photos I snapped this weekend was this one. It made my heart warm up when I compared it to last year’s shot around this same time.

Now that we are close to finishing up year 2 with out little one I have to say that one of my favorite things is flipping through pictures and finding out I snapped a similar one when she was in her first year. Then putting them side by side and seeing how much she has grown…
Isn’t being a Mommy the most rewarding job in the world?!
