We took a break from our outdoor play for a nap and then to bake some cookies. Such a good helper I have!
If you remember my trip to BlogHer Food a few weeks back, I was luck enough to come home with two very, very exciting products. One of them being this Ninja Kitchen System. I have made two important items in it- daiquiris and cookies. The staple for every farm woman kitchen. ๐
Anyway, this was my first go at cookie dough, and I was impressed! It is hands down the best blender I have ever used for daiquiris and its cookie mixing skills are amazing too!
I also came home with one of their crockpots…but that’s a story for another day. All I will say its ease and versatility make this farm wife happy and I can’t wait to use it for field meals!

Gotta love making cookies with the kids!
I’ve always wondered about those Ninja Kitchen Systems. One of my sisters lives in a small apartment with pretty much a kitchenette and not a full kitchen in it. She commented that she didn’t have space for both a blender and a food processor so I found a combo blender/food processor for her but wondered if I should have spent the extra money and got her a Ninja instead – guess time will tell!

Hey Val! I will say that this is really my first go round with it. They claim that it takes the place of a processor, juicer, mixer, and blender. All into one. I really don’t have much to compare it to…but so far I love it! And it does an amazing job crushing ice..which is great because we love blended drinks. And it does a great job with milkshakes! If KitchenAid would be so kind to send me their mixer then I would really know how it compares ๐
