I think on Sundays I am probably the mushiest I am all week. I think it’s because I get all day, most Sundays, spending it with my farmer. All the way from the time I get up until the time we go to bed.
I feel so blessed. I really do. I enjoy these days.
Tonight I sat down to spend some time finalizing a presentation for later this week and work on a blog post. As I got to the blogging portion of my evening I found myself completely at a writer’s block.
I just didn’t know what to talk about. But, I remembered this one tweet I got a few weeks ago and I think it’s a perfect mushy ending to my mushy Sunday.
Now, for those of you not up on the twitter world. A friend of mine shared an article with me “15 Reasons to Date a Farmer” from eHarmony’s page. And they responded to us!
Some people get excited when certain people retweet what they have to say. Me, I am a junky for romantic, happy endings!
We met on Farmer’s Only, friends of ours met on eHarmony.
eHarmony supporting farmers?! Yes, please…sign up every Single person I know!
Anyway, here is the article on “15 Reasons to Date a Farmer“, it’s a good read and will only take a few minutes of your time.
Plus, I couldn’t agree more with some of these reasons…Farmers are loyal, protective, want children, are not afraid to set down some roots, and you have got to love those free tractor rides!
What I am really trying to say is check out eHarmony and FarmersOnly if you are looking for someone to have mushy Sundays with!
On a random side note…after publishing this I realized that FarmersOnly had actually commented on the article! What fun!
(I was not paid by eHarmony or FarmersOnly to promote them in anyway- I just love me some good ole fashioned love stories that start via social media!)

Hi SD Farm Wife,
my farmer and I meet on an internet dating site as well. I was a city/suburban girl working in downtown Minneapolis. He’s a grain farmer in western MN (on a clear day you can see SD from our house). We will be married a year on June 1st. I’m new to the country so I enjoy reading about other rural lifestyles. Other than the horrible winter we’ve had (that is hopefully over!), it’s been great to be living in the country with my husband. He’s the best guy I’ve ever meet!
Thanks for the interesting stories and links!
