As most of you know last week Jason and I spent some much needed time away from our much loved farm. Amazing as it sounds farmers do need a break every now and again, although ours prefer more like a 20 to 30 minute break.
Jason and I spent the week fishing with lots of good friends in Ignace, Ontario, Canada. Here are the pictures, as promised..and if you look close you will notice that when it came to fishing in our boat, I do believe I caught the most fish- and the biggest! But, my hubby was a great sport about it and was super encouraging the entire week!
It was quite a ways out where we were going, down an old train track. This bridge got to me, just a tiny bit. |
While we were waiting on everyone else to arrive we took a ride with the 4-Wheeler and picked a quart of blueberries! Yum! |
Our first day on the water. That is one happy husband, if I say so myself! |
Our lunch rock. |
Our first catch of the week! |
Now those are some skilled fishermen! |
This is the fresh water spring where we got our drinking water. |
Part of the gang |
Jason and one of his closest friends, Doug |
My first catch- don’t worry my next few get bigger! ๐ |
Now that is a fish! |
My last catch of the trip! |
He was pretty excited about his last catch of the trip too! |
We didn’t ride this in to the cabin we stayed at, but back in the day the only way to get to the cabin was by plane! |
