I am having a bit of a thoughtful Sunday today.
So, naturally I thought I would share some of those thoughts.
When I mow the lawn I spend a lot of time talking to God. Funny, yes, but true. See we have a really big lawn, it takes me right around four hours to do it right…meaning all straight lines and as close as I can get it to fence and tree lines (So I don’t have to use the weed eater).
But, during those four hours I spend so much time going over the things that are hurting me, the things that are making me happy, the things I am worried about. I spend a good four hours “talking” to God every time I mow our lawn.
Our family always makes me laugh, cry, and want to scream. But, I would bet that is the same with everyone’s family. Your family can be your best friend, your best critic, and your shoulder you can always cry on.
I believe there are three things in life we can never live without.
Faith- In God, in ourselves, and in others.
Family- Your continuous rock.
The American Farmer- Working hard every day to feed the world year round.
